Hi,
20th May sounds good for the slide show, I intend getting
over there early May if I can, but only get back to the UK
20th April, so will have to get my skates on in sorting out
slides!
Lots of things happening on the bird front, but trying to
find time to write it all down for my next story! We are
down to 4 here, & I'm cooking as well as doing my usual
work! We are even working Sundays at the moment, so not much
free time yet, but by the end of next week, things should
have calmed down a bit and I'll have more time to get things
other than work done.
E-mail from Wales the other day - white phase Gyr Falcon
on my local patch!!!! Several choice expletives were heard
in South Georgia that day. I'm always away when the really
good stuff turns up!
Looking forward to some small colourful birds for a change.
It will also be nice to see some raptors again.
Happy birding & regards to all,
Dewi.

Hi,
Had a brilliant trip North, unlike the one into Signy, I'll let
you know all in my next update, but lots of Soft Plumaged Petrels
on one day was the highlight!
Also had a crash of birds here one night when they flew
into the ship's lights at night, birds we do not see here!
Great chance to see the birds in the hand and show everyone
else the difference between species, adults and
juveniles.
Albatross chicks growing well and looking cute!
Lot's of snow here now & getting colder daily. We are
working even longer hours as there are only four of us left & I'm
cooking for them also! Hope they survive the ordeal!
Have a great trip to Panama, regards to all,
Dewi.
