Orange-crowned Warbler
Amenia, February - March, 2005
Photos by Bill Case and Les Line

Late in the winter of 2004/2005, Les Line, longtime editor of Audubon magazine, had an Orange-crowned Warbler coming to his feeders for about three weeks in Amenia, Dutchess County.  Many people went to see the bird and several took photoraphs.

The last Orange-crowned Warbler reported in the county previously had been in 1992, and the Amenia bird represents the first winter record in Dutchess for the species.
