Lark Bunting
Stissing, May 12-13, 1970

The only Lark Bunting found in Dutchess County was one
adult male on May 12-13, 1970 at Stissing by Thelma and Paul Haight at their feeder.  The Lark Bunting is a rare vagrant statewide, with most sightings in the fall and in the southeast, especially on Long Island.  The Dutchess County report is only the second inland record in New York.
