Ken and Carol Fredericks found two breeding plumaged Dunlin at Traver Pond/Marsh Sunday May 25, 2003. While they were watching the birds, a Great Blue Heron flew by and the Dunlins left. But Barbara Butler was able to find the birds again between 2 and 3pm.

Barbara Mansell and Liz Martens spotted a Dunlin on October 24, 2004 at the northern end of Van Wagner Road in Pleasant Valley, and Barbara took the photo shown at right.
